Brief Proifle

Dr. Mohinder Pal Garg is working as Associate Professor in Mechanical Engineering Department at D.A.V. University, Jalandhar. Earlier he served as Professor in Mechanical Engineering Department at M.M.  University, Mullana. He was a coordinator of Mechatronics Department as well as Head (Sports)  and program officer of N.S.S. and also served as coordinator for NAAC accreditation of the University. He was  a member of Board of studies, Faculty of Engg. and Academic council of M.M. University, Mullana. He received his B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering from SLIET, Longowal, M.E. in CAD/CAM and Robotics from Thapar Institute of Engg. and Technology, Patiala and Ph D from National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra. He is a life member of ISTE. During his academic career of 19 years, he has contributed 35 research papers in International/ National journals of repute (Sage,  Springer, Elaseveir, Inderscience Publishers) as well as conferences at national and international level. He has also successfully completed one project sanctioned by AICTE New Delhi worth Rs. 10.35 Lacs. He supervised 15 postgraduate theses in the area of conventional and non-traditional machining methods. His areas of interest are Non conventional machining processes, Machining of difficult to machine materials, finite element analysis apart from statistical modelling and analysis.
