Brief Proifle

Having a wide range of industrial, teaching, research and administrative experience of about 30 years in India as well as in abroad, Dr. Seth has been contributing significantly in the field of space engineering. He designed and developed a prototype structure for constructing a Space Tower to access an altitude of 20 Km for its utilization in a variety of space missions and introduced a potential concept of power generation technology using space tower as a part of future development plans. A winner of National Scholarship in India, Dr. Seth also received fellowship to conduct research in Canada leading to Ph. D degree. He is a member and reviewer of Editorial Board of Int. J. of Space Science and Engineering and also holds the membership of International Space Elevator Consortium (US) along with other National and International associations. Currently, He is conducting research in the field of space engineering, an interdisciplinary field which is based upon fundamental principles of physics. The research is published in peer reviewed international journals and covered by worldwide media in various renowned magazines such as Discovery, New Scientist (UK), and Popular Science (US) and also hailed by NASA, CTV and CNN. Currently, Dr. Seth is actively engaged with the projects assigned to M.Sc. students and making them aware to understand the space based technologies to design and develop new futuristic technologies.
