Dr. Ashutosh Gupta
Dr. Ashutosh Gupta is faculty in the Department of Commerce & Business Management. He is having more than 15 years of experience of teaching undergraduate and post graduate classes. He is a passionate researcher and has presented research articles in various national and international conferences of repute. He has 18 publications in reputed journals (including Scopus indexed, springer and emerald etc.) He is also a reviewer of journals of repute. He has organized various workshops and events like financial literacy, Carpe diem (IIM Calcutta), ECHO (IIM Kozhikode). He has attended various FDPs and workshops in the area of Business analytics, DELNET discovery services, Research methodology and tools for data analysis, Modern methodologies for teaching and research etc. His area of specialization is analysing the financial statements, Corporate Financial Accounting, Cost Accounting, Management Accounting, Financial Management and Financial Services. Before joining DAV University, he was associated with Lyallpur Khalsa College Institute of Management & Technology and GNA-IMT. His area of research is focused upon Accounting and Managerial issues in Manufacturing and Service industry including Sugar Industry, Mutual Fund Industry, Education Sector and Insurance Sector.
