M.Tech. Programme at DAV University: Advance Your Career in Computer Science & Engineering

Admission to M Tech (CSE) with a monthly stipend of ₹8,000

DAV University offers a monthly stipend of ₹8,000 to the top 5 students seeking admission to M. Tech (CSE) from the academic session 2024-25 with the other admission modalities as mentioned underneath:

The candidates must have a B.Tech / B.E. degree in computer science & engineering with CGPA ≥ 7.0 or equivalent marks. The applicants who have completed or whose results are awaited may be considered for admission; however, if admitted, they must produce evidence of their having passed the qualifying degree examination with the minimum marks/grade (as specified in clause No. i) within 8 weeks of the beginning of the semester, failing which their admission is liable to be cancelled under this scheme.

Shortlisted candidates are required to appear in a written test followed by an interview.

Top 5 selected students will be assigned the Teaching Assistanceship to assist in the lab work of the students pursuing B.Tech (CSE) / BCA while studying in M.Tech. CSE programme at DAV University.

They shall be favorably considered for a full-time Ph.D. program at DAV University subject to fulfilment of criteria laid down by the UGC.

Students will have the option to pursue his/her 2nd year (3rd and 4th semesters) through the internship. In that case, a student will have to spend the entire 2nd year in the industry for the project work. If opt so, then during this period a student will not be entitled to receive a stipend from the university under this scheme.

Financial assistance will normally be for a maximum period of two years (4 semesters) strictly during the teaching period of the semester. In no case, it will be extended beyond 2 years.

Students receiving assistanceship from the university will be required to perform academic duties assigned to them by the departments as per rules in force from time to time.

The continuation of the assistantship will be subject to the satisfactory performance of the duties assigned by the department and satisfactory progress in the postgraduate program.

Due to any reason, students who discontinue the programme, are required to refund the entire stipend amount received during their stay in the University.

All the selected students shall abide by the leave rule of the university.
