DAV University organized personality development programme

In DAV University, Jalandhar a six-day personality development program was organized in which 60 students from the education department participated. In the inaugural session Vice Chancellor Dr. Jasbir Rishi shared her thoughts with students that different temperaments of people play an important role in determining their personality. She said, the process of personality development requires a set of skills that need to be learned, so it is a must that they should learn such skills at this early stage. Many experts like Ritali Singh from Pathankot guided students with the help of presentations. Ritali said that Personality development is a continuous process and behavioral skills are linked in personal and professional growth. Ms. Monika and Akanksha emphasized on making communication very clear and concise.  Dr. Harjot was of the view that Personality is not in-born and static. It can be consciously developed and changed. She emphasized on clear cognitive behavior also.

Dr. Karan Paul told students how to make effective presentations and also that with conscious effort, one can project the desired personality. Madam Gagandeep and Yashpreet guided students that in one’s career, it is therefore important to recognize that there is a direct correlation between the personality signals and one’s career growth. Those who do not align these expectations may get hurdles in their careers. Dr. Nakul Kundra shared his views that need of students is to develop personality in line with people, place, time etc. He added, Leadership qualities can be developed with the help of different kinds of personality tests. In the conclusion ceremony Harjot madam said that a person with pleasant personality knows how to win the heart and objective, so it is part of personality to  have a smile in each situation.
