DAV University organized a three days National Webinar Series on "Evolving Technologies and Recent Trends in Computer Science 2022-Season 2" by the Department of Computer Science and Applications. This webinar Series was inaugurated online by the Vice Chancellor Dr. Jasbir Rishi.

Vice Chancellor Dr. Rishi congratulated the department for such events and shared her views on the topic. She said, though artificial intelligence, which is one of the evolving terms, is not that familiar but still this technology is transforming each corner of our life. This can help us in integrating information, sharing, analyzing or making a database. In spite of this, AI can be a great tool for good governance.

On other hand, the speakers of this webinar series Dr. Gurvinder Singh, Professor, Department of Computer Science, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, Dr. A. L. Sangal, Professor, Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Dr. BR Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, Dr. Gurpreet Josan, Associate Professor, Punjabi University, Patiala, Dr. Lov Kumar, Assistant Professor, Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani, Dr. Rohini Sharma, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science & Applications and Mr. Varun Sareen, Director, IoT, Hitachi were welcomed by Dean Academics Dr. R K Seth. 

All experts addressed the students on hot selling trends and technologies such as IoT using Machine Learning, Neural Networks and Artificial Intelligence. In conclusion speakers were appreciated for enlightening the students with their vast knowledge and experience.
