The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences at DAV University, Jalandhar, commemorated the National Pharmacy Week. Themed "Join Pharmacist to Ensure Patient Safety," the celebrations from November 23-24 featured a spectrum of activities. The Rangoli competition added artistic flair to the campus, with intricate designs reflecting creativity within the pharmacy department.
The Athletics Meet epitomized healthy competition, as students engaged in contests from sprinting to long jumps. Model-making brought an intellectual dimension, with students crafting innovative representations of pharmaceutical concepts, highlighting the department's commitment to holistic education.
Short Videos emerged as a unique medium for students to express pharmacy-related thoughts beyond traditional academia. The prize distribution ceremony, graced by distinguished guests Registrar Dr. S. K. Arora, former Registrar Dr. K. N. Kaul, and Dean Science and Engineering Dr. R.K. Seth, added prestige, underscoring the university's dedication to recognizing educational excellence.
Dr. Sudhir Kumar, Dean of Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, expressed happiness over the students' accomplishments, emphasizing the event's role in fostering holistic learning. Mr. S P S Khurana, Coordinator of the Faculty, congratulated winners and extended wishes for their bright future.
