DAV University organised a G20 sensitization session on the topic Vasushastra - The Vedic Science of Architecture under the G20 University Connect Initiative: Indian Knowledge Tradition. The expert talk was aimed at highlighting the significance of Vedic science and its application in the field of architecture.

Dr. Deshbandhu delivering the keynote address

Dr. Deshbandhu, a renowned Vedic scholar and Sanskrit Pratibha Puraskar, as well as Kalidass Puraskaar Awardee from Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri National Sanskrit University (Central University), New Delhi, was the keynote speaker for the session. Master Amritbandhu, a 10-year-old budding talent who was conversant with the Shlokas of Shrimad Baghvat Geeta and recited them by heart, was the special guest for the event.

Dr. Deshbandhu concisely interpreted the four Vedas - Rig Veda, Sama Veda, Yajur Veda, and Atharva Veda - and emphasized that Vastu is a true science and not a myth or superstition. He explained that an individual's fortune depends on the position of stars and earth during the time of their birth. The expert also shed light on the importance of directions according to Vastu and elaborated on the 45 types of energies present in an individual's house that can positively or negatively affect their life.
